Ayush Pavilion Draws Families With Free Consultations, Medicines and Interactive Activities
The Ministry of Ayush is presenting a comprehensive display of India’s traditional healthcare systems at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 under the theme “आयुष के साथ – स्वस्थ भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत”. The Ayush Pavilion has become one of the key attractions of the event, drawing thousands of visitors interested in Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy. Each stall highlights different aspects of holistic wellness through live demonstrations, expert interactions and participatory activities designed for all age groups.
All India Institute of Ayurveda Showcases Ayurveda-Based Nutrition
A central feature of the pavilion is the stall of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, where Ayurveda-based dietary practices are being demonstrated through functional food products. Items such as Ragi Nachos, Sunthyadi Laddoo, Ragi–Urad Laddoo, Mudga Soup Premix and Yavadi Saktu are displayed with explanations of their nutritional value. Experts are detailing their therapeutic relevance in areas such as anemia management, immune enhancement and digestive health. Visitors are receiving educational booklets with recipes, preparation methods and information on traditional grains, herbs and spices.
National Institute of Ayurveda Highlights Sattvic Diet and Wellness Products
The National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur is presenting a range of Sattvic dietary products including Triphala Jam, Rejuvenating Granules and Ragi Biscuits. Personal care formulations such as Aloe Vera Gel, Lip Balm and Foot Cream prepared using Ayurvedic ingredients are also featured. Faculty members are interacting with visitors to explain the role of Sattvic dietary principles in supporting mental clarity, balanced energy and long-term well-being. Information brochures are available to guide visitors on incorporating Ayurvedic dietary practices into daily life.
Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth Promotes Ayurveda Nutrition and Millet Awareness
Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth is showcasing nutritional products under the Ayush Aahar theme. Offerings include Poshak Cookies in Til, Ajwain and Jeera varieties, Annie Bread, Jeetayu Tea, Enppy Drink and Full Moon Chocolate. A Millet Quiz is being conducted to spread awareness about the significance of millets in Ayurveda. The stall has gained attention from students, families and international visitors who have shown interest in the institute’s efforts toward promoting healthy and sustainable food choices.
Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga Conducts Demonstrations and Y-Breaks
The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is presenting interactive yoga demonstrations, guided sessions on the Common Yoga Protocol and short Y-Break practices aimed at working individuals. The institute is also conducting yoga quizzes to help visitors understand how basic yoga routines can be incorporated into daily schedules to improve focus, flexibility and relaxation.
Unani Section Offers Traditional Foods and Digital Mizaj Assessment
The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine and the National Institute of Unani Medicine are jointly presenting traditional Unani foods such as Harrera, Unani Qahwa, Halwa Gheekwar, Gulqand and Talbeena-based barley products. A digital Mizaj-assessment kiosk is drawing visitors interested in understanding their temperament types, including Damvi, Balghami, Safravi and Saudavi. Physicians from both institutions are offering free consultations and medicines.
Siddha Systems Highlight Preventive Health and Nutritious Foods
The National Institute of Siddha and the Central Council for Research in Siddha are showcasing Siddha-inspired foods such as Hibiscus Infusion Tea, Panchamutti Kanji, Karisalai Mittai and Halim Nachos. The hibiscus tea has drawn notable visitor interest. The NIS team is distributing IEC materials, providing free consultations to more than 100 beneficiaries and holding awareness sessions. Information on UG, PG and Ph.D programmes is also being shared.
Homoeopathy Section Displays Research and Offers Free Consultations
The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy has set up a stall featuring research publications, posters, digital content and details on clinical studies and safety protocols. A Homoeopathic OPD is functioning within the pavilion, where physicians are offering free consultations and medicines. The stall highlights principles of Homoeopathy and the research methodologies adopted by CCRH.
Sowa-Rigpa Institute Shares Himalayan Healing Traditions
The National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa is providing visitors with information on traditional Himalayan healing practices. Details on Sowa-Rigpa diet, therapeutic regimens and herbal formulations are being presented. The institute is offering around forty free consultations daily, giving visitors an opportunity to understand its emphasis on harmony with nature through diet, behavior and herbal preparations.
National Medicinal Plants Board Distributes Medicinal Saplings
The National Medicinal Plants Board is displaying live medicinal plants along with guidance on their identification, cultivation and uses. Educational material on home-based applications of herbs is being distributed. As part of the Atal Ayush Mahotsav, medicinal saplings are being offered to visitors to mark the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji.
IMPCL Showcases Ayurvedic and Unani Medicines
Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation Limited is presenting its range of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines. The organisation, which operates a WHO-GMP and ISO-certified manufacturing facility in Mohan, Uttarakhand, is displaying classical formulations supplied to government healthcare institutions. The stall highlights its product range and its annual turnover of approximately ₹170 crore in FY 2024–25.
PCIM&H Exhibits Pharmacopoeial Standards and Publications
The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy is displaying ASU&H Pharmacopoeias, Formularies and dried single drugs along with audio-visual content outlining its mandate. As a NABL-accredited laboratory with BIS-certified Integrated Management Systems, the commission is using the pavilion to inform visitors about quality standards and scientific validation methods.
CCRYN Promotes Naturopathy-Based Nutrition and Wellness
The Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy is presenting displays on naturopathy-based nutrition through physical exhibits and digital content. IEC material is being distributed to raise awareness about naturopathy and yoga practices. Visitors are sampling snacks such as Til Laddoo, Groundnut-Til Laddoo, Makhana Laddoo and Millet Namkeen, which demonstrate simple dietary options recommended in naturopathy.
Ayurveda-Based Start-Ups Present Innovative Wellness Products
A number of Ayurveda-based start-ups are participating in the pavilion, showcasing skincare and haircare products, detox drinks, Ayurvedic foods and other wellness items. Their presence reflects efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation by providing a national platform for young enterprises to demonstrate contemporary applications of traditional knowledge.
Activity Zone Engages Children and Families
The pavilion includes an activity zone that is attracting children, youth and families. The zone features drawing competitions for children aged six to twelve, health-themed snakes and ladder games, Prakruti Parikshan, Mizaj tests, slogan writing, poster-making activities, spin-the-wheel games, millet quizzes and a photo booth. These activities are helping visitors understand wellness concepts in an interactive manner.
