Shri Chouhan elaborated on the Central Government’s Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission, which aims to boost the production of lentils and grams. He encouraged farmers to contribute suggestions to strengthen this initiative, promoting a participatory approach to agricultural policy-making and ensuring sustainable growth.

Promoting Diversification for Rural Prosperity
Shri Chouhan urged farmers to diversify their income sources by adopting animal husbandry, fisheries, beekeeping, and horticulture alongside traditional farming. He also outlined government schemes for animal vaccination, aimed at improving livestock health and supporting rural economies.
Community Collaboration for Sustainable Development
“Transformative change is possible when people and ministers work hand in hand,” Shri Chouhan emphasized. He called for collective cooperation to drive rural development, encouraging farmers, SHG members, and local leaders to actively participate in government initiatives for sustainable progress.
