Temporary Suspension of Farmer Registration

In view of the upcoming Diwali festival, the Rajasthan government has announced a temporary pause in the farmer registration process for the procurement of pulses and oilseeds at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). According to Shri Gautam Kumar Dak, the Minister of State for Cooperatives (Independent Charge), the registration process will remain suspended on October 20 and 21, 2025.

Resumption of Registration

Farmers will be able to resume their registration on the Rajfed portal starting from 11:00 AM on October 22, 2025. This brief pause is intended to accommodate the festive season, ensuring farmers can focus on Diwali celebrations without the pressure of administrative tasks.

Ongoing Kharif 2025 Procurement

The registration for the procurement of Kharif 2025 crops, including moong, groundnut, urad, and soybean, began on October 18, 2025. The process allows farmers to sell their produce at MSP through the Rajfed portal by completing the designated registration procedure.

Significant Farmer Participation

Since the registration process began, over 60,000 farmers have already registered to sell their produce at MSP. This significant participation highlights the importance of the MSP scheme in supporting Rajasthan’s agricultural community during the Kharif season.

Supporting Farmers During Festivities

The suspension of registration during Diwali reflects the government’s commitment to balancing administrative processes with cultural and social considerations. By resuming the process immediately after the festival, the government ensures that farmers can continue to benefit from the MSP scheme without significant delays.
