Ayush Ministry Reinforces ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ with Special Campaign

The Ministry of Ayush has strengthened its commitment to cleanliness, accountability, and efficient governance through Special Campaign 5.0, held between 2nd and 31st October 2025. The initiative focused on reducing administrative clutter, improving grievance redressal, and enhancing hygiene practices across all Ayush institutions in the country.

Major Highlights of the Campaign

Throughout the month-long drive, the Ministry resolved 658 public grievances and 59 appeals, alongside addressing two references from Members of Parliament. A total of 68 cleanliness activities were organized across various facilities, ensuring active participation from staff and stakeholders.

Record management was significantly improved by weeding out 101 files, a move aimed at optimizing administrative efficiency. These operations collectively helped reclaim 1365 square feet of office space by disposing of unnecessary materials, generating a revenue of ₹7,35,500 in the process.

Transformative Approach to Cleanliness and Efficiency

The Ministry’s recent efforts highlight a coordinated and sustainable approach to public service, emphasizing “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.” Senior officials led several on-site events to inspire participation and build awareness among employees and the public. Cleaner workspaces and streamlined processes have become a benchmark for other departments participating in similar initiatives.

Special Campaign 5.0 also saw active involvement from the broader Ayush community through outreach programs in herbal gardens, community centers, and public venues. These activities underscored the Ministry’s continuous drive to inculcate civic responsibility and maintain high standards of workplace hygiene.
