Embracing the “Waste to Beauty” vision, NCL is showcasing its commitment to environmental stewardship through innovative art installations. Magnificent sculptures of India’s National Bird, the Peacock, and the Barasingha have been crafted from iron scrap generated during mining operations. These artworks not only highlight creativity but also underscore NCL’s dedication to sustainable waste management.
Promoting Sustainable Sanitation
NCL has furthered its eco-conscious efforts by installing five bio-toilets across its project sites. These facilities provide hygienic and sustainable sanitation solutions for workers and nearby communities, minimizing environmental impact while supporting the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Engaging Communities Through Creativity
As part of its community engagement efforts, NCL organized a “Waste to Art” competition at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Singrauli, on October 17, 2025. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing innovative ideas for recycling and reusing scrap materials. This initiative inspired broader community involvement in sustainable waste management practices, fostering environmental awareness among the youth.

- Sanitation Coverage: Cleaning 85,000 square feet of operational areas.
- Scrap Disposal: Disposing of 2,500 metric tonnes of scrap material.
- Record Management: Reviewing 350 physical files and examining 9,000 e-files for streamlined administration.
Through these efforts, NCL is setting new benchmarks in cleanliness, administrative efficiency, and environmental consciousness.
