Overview of Special Campaign 5.0
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has launched Special Campaign 5.0, guided by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG). Efficient Record Management and Cleanliness Initiatives
DPIIT has closed over 75% of identified e-files, reflecting robust efforts in record management. Additionally, the department completed 291 cleanliness campaigns, nearly 60% of the planned activities, across its offices. These initiatives promote Swachhata and improve workplace conditions, benefiting both officials and staff members.
Campaign Timeline and Goals
The preparatory phase for Special Campaign 5.0 took place from September 15 to September 30, 2025, raising awareness about cleanliness and efficient record management. By the campaign’s conclusion on October 31, 2025, DPIIT aims to achieve complete resolution of pending matters and establish Swachhata as a standard practice across all its offices, contributing to a cleaner and more responsive government.
