Scindia made it clear that parcels must become the heartbeat of the organisation. He set an ambitious target of earning twenty-five thousand crore rupees from this segment alone over the next five years. To reach this figure, the department will deepen ties with private companies and push mail services harder. In the long run, three-quarters of all earnings should come from logistics activities.

Six new delivery options will roll out at the start of the coming year to make sending and receiving packages easier. At the same time, major road links used for moving mail will receive upgrades by the end of March 2026. Special attention will go to routes serving the North-East so that remote areas stay connected without delays.

The minister pointed out how online tools have already improved savings accounts and public services. He urged teams to carry the same energy into every other area of work. Starting from the third quarter, twelve circles that lag behind will receive focused guidance. These include Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh. Each will study the methods used in Delhi and Telangana to build their own success stories.

From now on, every major service line will hold a review meeting every month. The head of each line, along with the top postal official, will chair these sessions to track progress and solve problems quickly.

Every circle must also lift its expenditure coverage ratio above fifty percent by the next quarter. This means bringing in more revenue while keeping costs in check, even after accounting for pension payments.

India Post will double down on its promise to promote homemade goods. Its nationwide network will help small producers and craftsmen reach buyers across the country and beyond. This approach fits perfectly with the larger aim of building a self-reliant nation.

Eighteen post offices spread over seven states will soon turn into next-generation facilities. These model branches will offer better access, smarter layouts, and top-class services. Once proven, the same standards will spread to thousands of other locations.
