TRAI Launches Logo Design Competition for India’s Digital Connectivity Rating Framework

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has officially launched the Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) Logo Design Competition, inviting creative individuals aged 15 and above to design the emblem for India’s pioneering rating framework for digital connectivity in buildings and public infrastructure.

This competition seeks to boost public engagement and awareness while establishing a visual identity for the DCR framework. The selected winning design will serve as the official logo for DCR certifications, digital platforms, stakeholder communications, and nationwide outreach initiatives.

Understanding the Digital Connectivity Rating Framework

Under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024, TRAI has introduced a comprehensive system to evaluate buildings’ preparedness for superior digital connectivity. This includes assessments of mobile coverage, broadband infrastructure, and real-world service performance.

Property managers can obtain a DCR rating through TRAI-registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs), promoting transparency and accountability in indoor digital infrastructure development.
