Reservation benefits, age relaxations, and concessions for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen, and other categories will continue as per existing government orders.
Departmental Committee Structure
The Departmental Promotion Committee will include the Principal Secretary or Secretary (AR) as Chairman, the Head of Department as Member, and the Deputy Secretary (GAD) as Member. Consultation with the Union Public Service Commission is not required for this post.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the constitution, read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. 27/59-Hom(I) dated the 13th July, 1959, the Lt. Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to make rules in the Schedule hereto annexed as Annexure-I containing the rules regarding method of recruitment and educational qualifications necessary for appointment to the posts of Laboratory Technician in Directorate of Agricultural Marketing, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Delhi.
1. Short title and commencement.
(i) These rules may be called the “Directorate of Agricultural Marketing, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Laboratory Technician, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted, Group ‘C’ Recruitment Rules, 2025.”
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazetted.
2. Number of posts, its classification and pay level in the pay matrix. The number of said post, its classification and level of pay in the pay matrix of pay attached thereto shall be as specified in Columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications etc. The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in the Columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications. No person:
(a) Who has entered or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living.
Or
(b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person. shall be eligible for appointment to any of the said posts.
Provided the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, may, if satisfied that such a marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds of doing so exempt any person from the operation of this regulation.
5. Power to relax. Where the Government is of the opinion that if necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, may relax any of the provision of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving. Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions, required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time in this regard.
