The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, paid tribute and respect to the ninth Guru of Sikhism, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, on the occasion of his 350th Martyrdom Day.

Honouring Spiritual Leadership and Sacrifice

Shri Amit Shah highlighted that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, within a single lifetime, engaged in deep spiritual practice, conducted sacred discourses, and protected culture and faith from brutal invaders. He emphasized that the Guru stood for the Kashmiri Pandits, challenged the tyrannical Mughal rulers, and sacrificed everything for the sake of dharma.

Remembering a Legacy of Devotion and Courage

The Union Home Minister stated that recalling the saga of Guru Sahib Ji’s sacrifice, characterized by bravery, restraint, selflessness, and devotion, continues to inspire pride and a renewed resolve for national protection.
