Launch Event in Riyadh
Riyadh, October 22, 2025 – The Ministry of Interior, under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, has rolled out four new electronic services through the Absher platform. The launch took place at the ministry’s club in Riyadh, officiated by Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba, Supervisor of the Civil Affairs Agency.
New Services for Citizens
The newly introduced services are designed to enhance accessibility and convenience for citizens. These include:
- Requesting a change to a citizen’s first name
- Delivering death certificates
- Issuing replacements for lost or damaged death certificates
- Updating birth certificates
