On November 20, commencing at 4 p.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by the Honorable George Glass, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Japan. Foreign Minister MOTEGI conveyed his appreciation to Ambassador Glass for his contribution in strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance, and stated that he would like to work closely together to elevate the Japan-U.S. Alliance to new heights. Ambassador Glass underscored the unwavering commitment of the United States to the Japan-U.S. Alliance.

Building on the outcomes of the U.S President Trump’s recent visit to Japan, Foreign Minister MOTEGI and Ambassador Glass also exchanged views on Japan-U.S. cooperation in a wide range of fields and current regional affairs.
