Jeddah, November 10, 2025: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) honored several national and international airlines with the prestigious “Multazim” Award during the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025. The ceremony was held in the presence of Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region and Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah.

The recognition event took place as part of GACA’s active participation in the conference, which focused on improving the travel experience for pilgrims and advancing aviation operations for the Hajj season 1446 AH.

Airlines Recognized for Excellence in Hajj Operations

GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej presented the Multazim Awards to national carriers Saudia, flynas, and flyadeal for their outstanding performance during the Hajj 2025 season. Several international airlines also received the award, including:

International Airlines Honored
Malaysia Airlines
Uzbekistan Airways
Turkish Airlines
Ethiopian Airlines
Air China

Initiatives to Enhance Hajj Air Transport Services

To encourage operational excellence, GACA introduced two key initiatives during the season — the “Distinguished Path” and the “Multazim Award”. These programs are designed to enhance efficiency in air transport services, motivate airlines to raise service standards, and help Hajj offices prepare early for pilgrims’ transportation.

Supporting Saudi Vision 2030

GACA emphasized that these initiatives are aligned with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on improving the overall air transport ecosystem and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leading global role in serving pilgrims from around the world. Through such recognition and continuous improvement efforts, the authority aims to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient air travel for all pilgrims participating in future Hajj seasons.
