At the Jordanian pavilion during the Saudi International Handicrafts Week (Banan), artisan Yazan Eid from Aqaba demonstrated his craft as visitors observed him transform graded sand into paintings inside glass bottles with precision.

With 15 years of experience, Yazan began this art as a hobby before establishing his store in Aqaba. This event marks his first participation in Banan, following previous exhibitions in Europe.

Yazan can inscribe names in sand within a bottle in five to 10 minutes. Larger artworks require one to two hours due to the level of detail involved. His primary material is silica sand, recognized as one of the finest types in Jordan.

For Yazan, Banan provides an opportunity to present Jordanian heritage. Visitors frequently purchase these pieces as unique souvenirs.
