A woman in a dark abaya and niqab is standing near the screen, appearing to give a presentation. The screen displays text in Arabic and a graphic related to diabetes awareness, showing a blood glucose meter and a food pyramid. The classroom is modestly furnished, with a whiteboard, a clock, and some decorations on the walls.

Amman The Saudi community service center, affiliated with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), celebrated World Diabetes Day at the Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

KSrelief conducted an awareness lecture for its staff and beneficiaries, covering the definition of diabetes, its types, causes, and early symptoms.

The lecture also addressed both preventive and treatment measures, underscoring the role of a balanced diet and the importance of regular physical activity in helping control blood sugar levels.
