Amman, November 10, 2025: The second Quran memorization competition for boys and girls in Jordan concluded today at Amman Arab University. The event was organized by the Office of the Islamic Advisor at the Saudi Embassy in Jordan, affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in cooperation with the university’s Faculty of Sharia.

More than 400 male and female participants from different governorates and cities across Jordan competed in six categories. These categories included memorizing the entire Holy Quran and memorizing 25, 20, 15, 10, and five parts.

The competition aimed to promote excellence in Quranic learning and foster a culture of memorization and understanding of the Holy Quran among young students. Participants showcased exceptional dedication and performance throughout the various stages of the event.

The final qualifying rounds witnessed strong performances from top contestants who advanced from earlier stages. The closing ceremony, held on the university campus, honored the winners from each of the six categories with awards and certificates recognizing their achievement and commitment to Quranic studies.

The competition also reflected ongoing cultural and educational cooperation between Jordanian institutions and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, which continues to support Quranic programs and religious education initiatives across the region.
