Saudi Falcons Club Auction: A Landmark Event for Falconers

Riyadh Falconers praised the support and facilities provided by the
Saudi Falcons Club,
noting that the local falcon auction has effectively regulated and developed the Shaheen falcon market. They highlighted that the auction offers transportation, accommodation, documentation services, and a competitive sales platform, with events broadcast on television and social media.
Falconer Bandar Ghwair, owner of the most expensive falcon in the 2025 auction—valued at SAR361,000—has been a regular attendee since the auction’s inception. He previously participated in 2020, selling a falcon for SAR88,000. Ghwair commended the auction’s ongoing development and transparency in sales.
Turki Al-Anazi, owner of the second most expensive falcon at SAR360,000, noted this was his first participation, motivated by the auction’s reputation and economic benefits. “From the moment we captured the falcon, we headed straight to the auction; thankfully, the deal was successful,” he stated.
The Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 is held at the club’s headquarters in
Malham, north of Riyadh,
coinciding with the Kingdom’s annual trapping season from October 1 to November 30.
