The Saudi handball team opened its participation in the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025) with a 33–21 victory over Iraqi handball team. The match took place yesterday as part of the Group B fixtures at the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Olympic Complex.
The Saudi handball team will meet its Bahraini counterpart today in the second round of the competition.
Meanwhile, Saudi duathlon team athlete Karmah Al-Jaroudi placed 13th in the Duathlon “Sprint” category competition, which took place in Al-Rimal Park in Janadriyah. She finished the race with a time of 1:17:20 hour.
Her teammate Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi will compete today in the men’s 27.5 km event.
