Smart Court System Launched at Digital Forum

The President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judicial Council, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Youssef, today introduced a new Smart Court System during the Digital Government Forum 2025 held in Riyadh. According to him, this initiative marks a notable shift in how judicial cases will be handled digitally under the Board of Grievances.

Enhanced Efficiency and Secure Digital Litigation

Dr. Al-Youssef highlighted that the Smart Court System is built on advanced technological tools designed to achieve high standards in governance and judicial service quality. With features that ensure flexibility, accuracy, transparency, and efficiency, the system aims to deliver top-tier justice outcomes through a unified and fully secured digital platform.

Remote Court Proceedings Made Simpler

One of the key features of the new platform is its ability to manage court proceedings remotely. By offering an integrated space for judges and litigants, the system facilitates easy participation in hearings, while also providing comprehensive tools to document session details thoroughly. This ensures that all parties’ rights are protected with full transparency.

Strengthening Digital Justice Through AI

The launch of the Smart Court System is part of the Board of Grievances’ broader efforts to embrace digital transformation in judicial processes. By optimizing the use of judicial data and adopting artificial intelligence, the board seeks to enhance performance and better anticipate the needs of citizens and legal stakeholders. This follows earlier initiatives such as the Knowledge Assistant program, an AI-powered solution introduced to assist in judicial tasks.

A New Era in Judicial Innovation

With this launch, a new phase of digital justice begins, anchored in sustainability, integration, and flexibility. The system is expected to raise the bar in delivering efficient, convenient, and secure legal services, reinforcing the board’s commitment to innovation in judicial governance.
