Shri Kumar Rohit, Director of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Academy of Social Security (PDUNASS), inaugurated a three-week Orientation Programme today for newly promoted Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation.

During the inaugural address, Shri Kumar Rohit invited the trainees to share their expectations from the programme. In response to a query by Ms. Pratibha Thukral, APFC (Delhi Central), on managing time and stress, he recommended adopting an organized and deliberate work approach while taking on new duties.

Replying to observations made by Mr. Bigy Varghese, APFC, on compliance, Shri Rohit underlined the close relationship between compliance and the quality of services provided. He remarked that in the digital environment, where information circulates rapidly through channels such as WhatsApp, organizations must stay attentive to customer needs. He encouraged the officers to align themselves with this service-focused environment and highlighted the importance of teamwork, coordination, and continuous skill development for personal growth. He also urged senior officers attending the programme to maintain a learning-oriented attitude throughout the training.

Earlier, Shri Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I and Chief Learning Officer, welcomed the participants and urged them to take an active role in the upcoming team-building activities. An overview of the course structure was presented by Shri Manish Kumar Naiyyer, RPFC-II.

Although the average age of the participating officers is fifty-five years, the group showed strong enthusiasm and asked questions freely during the interaction with the Director.

As part of the training schedule, the officers will travel to Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, next week for an outbound module that will cover leadership-related topics such as time management, team building, problem-solving, innovation, volunteerism, adaptability, and communication.

The inaugural programme was attended by Shri Otojit Kshetrimayum (Fellow, VVGNLI), Shri Ankur Gupta (RPFC-I), Shri Ram Anand (RPFC-I), Shri Harish Yadav (RPFC-I), and other senior officials of the Academy.
