Legal Authority and Scope

The notification invokes Sections 3 and 4 of the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1966 (Act No. 8 of 1966) as extended to the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The reconstituted Board will exercise the functions and powers vested under the Act.

Effective Date and Supersession

The reconstitution takes effect from the date of publication in the Delhi Gazette. All previous notifications concerning the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members of the DKVIB Board are expressly superseded, except insofar as actions taken prior to this supersession remain valid.
