Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to India’s athletes for their extraordinary, record-breaking performance at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025. He stated that the athletes secured an unprecedented total of 20 medals, which included 9 golds, marking a historic milestone for Indian boxing.

He noted that the achievement reflected the resolve, determination, and committed efforts of the country’s boxers. In a message shared on X, Shri Modi commended the athletes and conveyed his best wishes for their future pursuits.

In his post, he wrote that the athletes delivered an extraordinary and record-breaking performance at the event, bringing home 20 medals including 9 golds, and highlighted the dedication behind their success.
