Overview of the 5th India-Australia Energy Dialogue

On October 16, 2025, New Delhi hosted the 5th India-Australia Energy Dialogue, a significant step in strengthening bilateral energy cooperation. The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Manohar Lal, India’s Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, and Mr. Chris Bowen MP, Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy.

The Indian delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministry of Mines, and Ministry of Coal. They presented detailed updates on progress and outlined future cooperation pathways under the Joint Working Groups established prior to the dialogue.
