The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is actively implementing Special Campaign 5.0, a nationwide initiative focused on resolving pending matters and promoting cleanliness. As the campaign reaches its midpoint, MoRTH has made significant strides in achieving its objectives across various parameters set during the preparatory phase.

Remarkable Progress in Cleanliness Initiatives

MoRTH has successfully met 100% of its cleanliness targets, covering an impressive 15,004 sites across India. These sites encompass:

  • Ministry offices
  • Construction camps and sites
  • National Highway stretches
  • Toll plazas
  • Wayside amenities
  • Roadside dhabas
  • Bus stops

This achievement underscores MoRTH’s commitment to fostering cleaner and more efficient public infrastructure.

Progress on Pending Matters

In addition to cleanliness efforts, MoRTH has addressed a significant portion of pending matters, including:

  • 22% of pending MP references (730 cases resolved)
  • 68% of pending public grievances (1,147 cases resolved)
  • 38% of public grievance appeals (522 cases resolved)

These efforts reflect MoRTH’s dedication to improving administrative efficiency and public satisfaction.

Robust Monitoring and Implementation

The campaign’s progress is closely monitored by MoRTH’s Nodal Officer, who regularly reviews updates and coordinates with senior officials to ensure timely resolution of pending matters. To enhance oversight, MoRTH has deployed senior officers to inspect regional offices, National Highway stretches, toll plazas, and wayside amenities across the country.

To maximize outreach and keep the public informed, MoRTH is actively sharing campaign updates and achievements on social media platforms, including X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. These efforts ensure transparency and encourage public participation in the campaign.
