Department of Land Resources Excels in Special Campaign 5.0 with 96% Grievance Resolution

 

The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) has achieved remarkable progress in the Government of India’s Special Campaign 5.0, resolving 96% of public grievances against the set target. Additionally, the department reviewed 1,004 physical files and 349 e-files for recording and weeding, demonstrating its commitment to efficient governance.

Key Achievements in Special Campaign 5.0

Special Campaign 5.0 focuses on promoting Swachhata (cleanliness) and reducing pendency in government offices. The DoLR has actively contributed by:

  • Disposing of 96% of public grievances.
  • Reviewing 1,004 physical files and 349 e-files for streamlined record management.
  • Conducting cleanliness drives across all office premises to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Efforts to Clear Pending Matters

The current phase of the campaign emphasizes resolving pending references, including:

  • Members of Parliament (MPs) references.
  • Public grievances.
  • Parliamentary assurances.

To ensure transparency and accountability, all participating DoLR offices submit regular progress reports, enabling close monitoring and timely achievement of campaign targets.

Swachhata Pakhwada: A Commitment to Cleanliness

From October 1 to October 15, 2025, the DoLR observed Swachhata Pakhwada, a dedicated period to promote cleanliness. Key activities included:

  • Developing a comprehensive Swachhata plan to guide efforts.
  • Sensitizing employees to maintain clean and organized workspaces.
  • Organizing a Shramdaan event on September 25, 2025, under the theme “Ek Din Ek Ghanta Ek Saath” at a public park near Jangpura Metro Station, New Delhi.
  • Conducting a lecture on public health awareness to educate employees.
