Sardar Patel @150 Unity March Promotes ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Spirit
To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the District Administration, Mahendragarh, organized a grand “Sardar @150 Unity March” from Kadipuri to Seka. Former minister and MLA Om Prakash Yadav attended as the chief guest, accompanied by ADC Uday Singh and SDM Anirudh Yadav.
Students and citizens raised patriotic slogans, celebrating national unity. MLA Yadav emphasized the message of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Fit India,” encouraging citizens to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India. BJP District President Dr. Yatendra Rao highlighted Haryana Government’s continuous efforts toward nation-building. A plantation drive titled “One Tree for Mother and One Tree for Nation” was also conducted at Kadipur Sports Stadium. The event was coordinated by Dr. Simran Chauhan with participation from several district officials and dignitaries.
Free Surgical Operations under Ayushman Bharat from November 17–22
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, eligible cardholders in Narnaul district will receive free surgical operations between November 17 and 22. Deputy Civil Surgeon and District Nodal Officer Dr. Manish Yadav informed that surgeries will include ophthalmology, cesarean, gynecology, orthopedics, and abdominal operations at Civil Hospitals in Narnaul and Mahendragarh.
All hospital officers and medical superintendents have been directed to run awareness campaigns to encourage participation. Patients have been advised to bring previous medical documents, test reports, Aadhaar card, and Ayushman card for immediate benefits.
District Committee Reviews Domestic Violence Act Implementation
Deputy Commissioner Captain Manoj Kumar chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee on the effective implementation of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. He stated that Mahendragarh’s women safety and support system is fully active, with the One Stop Centre at the old Mini Secretariat providing 24-hour integrated support including medical, legal, police, and shelter facilities for women.
All departments—including Police, Education, Women and Child Development, Youth Centre, and Panchayats—were directed to conduct awareness programs, rallies, and seminars on domestic violence prevention. Protection and Child Marriage Prohibition Officer Sarita Sharma presented the agenda, and several key officials, including DSP Suresh Kumar and CMO Dr. Ashok Kumar, were present.
Helpline Support for Women in Distress
The DC informed that the “Sakhi” One Stop Centre is actively assisting women facing violence or exploitation. Victims of child marriage, dowry, domestic disputes, trafficking, cybercrimes, or any other gender-based violence can directly contact the centre or call the Women Helpline at 181 or 01282–250091 for immediate assistance.
Preparations Underway for Maharaja Shoor Saini Jayanti State-Level Function
ADC Uday Singh reviewed the preparations for the state-level Maharaja Shoor Saini Jayanti celebration scheduled for November 16 at the New Grain Market, Narnaul. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend as the chief guest. ADC inspected the venue, parking arrangements, and the helipad site at ITI, along with cleanliness drives at Shaheed Smarak Naseebpur. Officers including City Magistrate Dr. Mangal Sen and XEN B&R Ashwini Kumar were also present.
No-Flying Zone Declared in Narnaul Subdivision on November 16
District Magistrate Captain Manoj Kumar issued an order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, declaring the entire Narnaul subdivision a “No Flying Zone” for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including drones, on November 16 in view of the Chief Minister’s visit. The area will be treated as a temporary red zone under Rule 24 of Drone Rules, 2021. The restriction does not apply to police, paramilitary forces, or other law enforcement agencies. Violations will invite legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Revised Gate Pass System for Bajra Procurement in Narnaul Mandi
From November 12 onwards, gate passes for millet (bajra) procurement at the New Grain Market, Narnaul will be issued only to farmers belonging to villages under the jurisdiction of the Narnaul Market Committee. Executive Officer and Secretary Nakul Yadav clarified that gate passes will not be issued to farmers from other market areas, urging them not to bring their produce to Narnaul Mandi to ensure an organized and farmer-friendly procurement process.
