Chief Secretary Leads Integrity Pledge for Vigilance Week 2025

Vigilance Awareness Week Kicks Off in Srinagar

Srinagar, October 27, 2025 – Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today administered the Integrity Pledge to officers and officials at the Civil Secretariat, marking the start of National Vigilance Awareness Week (NVAW) 2025. The nationwide campaign, launched by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), runs from October 27 to November 2, 2025, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Theme: Vigilance as a Shared Responsibility

This year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”, emphasizes collective efforts to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public administration. The campaign began at 11:00 AM with public servants across government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and autonomous bodies taking the Integrity Pledge to uphold ethical standards and foster a corruption-free environment.

Week-Long Activities to Promote Ethical Governance

The Vigilance Awareness Week includes a series of initiatives to engage both employees and citizens. Throughout the week, various awareness programs, workshops, seminars, and debates will focus on ethical governance and preventive vigilance. These activities aim to encourage proactive participation in building a culture of transparency and accountability across government institutions nationwide.
