In a follow-up to the Office Order dated July 29, 2025, Deputy Commissioner Hiazu Meru announced the confirmation of African Swine Fever cases in and around Peren District. To protect public health and the local livestock industry, the import of pork and live pigs into the district has been strictly prohibited with immediate effect.
