Investment and Land Allocation for Electric Bus Production
The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO) has issued an offer letter to PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Private Limited for establishing an electric bus manufacturing unit in the Ghilot Industrial Area. RIICO has allocated 265,329 square meters (65.56 acres) of land, valued at approximately ₹208 crore, for this ambitious project. The initiative involves an investment of around ₹1200 crore, which is expected to generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for over 500 individuals.

This significant investment marks a pivotal step in positioning Rajasthan as a hub for e-mobility in India. The project is set to accelerate industrial growth while promoting environmental conservation and green transportation. The initiative aligns with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the state government and PMI Electro Mobility Solutions during the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit. RIICO’s swift action in completing the land allocation through a recent e-auction process underscores its commitment to facilitating industrial development.
