Details of the Renamed Regional Rural Banks
Kerala Gramin Bank Becomes Kerala Grameena Bank
S.O. 4836(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the Canara Bank hereby changes the name of Kerala Gramin Bank to Kerala Grameena Bank.
Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank Now Jharkhand Gramin Bank
S.O. 4835(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the State Bank of India hereby changes the name of Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank to Jharkhand Gramin Bank.
Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank Renamed to Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank
S.O. 4834(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the State Bank of India hereby changes the name of Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank to Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank.
Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank Simplified to Haryana Gramin Bank
S.O. 4833(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the Punjab National Bank hereby changes the name of Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank to Haryana Gramin Bank.
Puduvai Bharathiyar Grama Bank Now Puducherry Grama Bank
S.O. 4832(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the Indian Bank hereby changes the name of Puduvai Bharathiyar Grama Bank to Puducherry Grama Bank.
Assam Gramin Vikash Bank Renamed to Assam Gramin Bank
S.O. 4831(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, on being requested so to do by the Punjab National Bank hereby changes the name of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank to Assam Gramin Bank.
