Strict Measures Against Fraudulent Practices

Jaipur, 27 October: Cooperation State Minister (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Kumar Dak has adopted a strict stance on complaints regarding fake girdawari and incorrect registrations for selling commodities at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) during Kharif 2025. He has directed that action be taken by the concerned district collectors against those who have registered fake girdawari contrary to actual sowing.Shri Dak issued these instructions while addressing a review meeting at his office in the Secretariat on Monday, focusing on preparations by Rajfed for purchasing moong, groundnut, urad, and soybean at MSP from farmers. He further directed that registrations based on fake girdawari for selling commodities at MSP should be cancelled to ensure that genuine farmers benefit from the MSP procurement scheme. Action will also be taken against E-Mitra operators who facilitate incorrect registrations based on fake girdawari. In this regard, he instructed the Bikaner District Collector over the phone to conduct an immediate investigation and take necessary action.

Ensuring Quality and Efficiency in MSP Procurement

During the meeting, the Cooperation Minister issued additional directives to streamline the MSP procurement process. He instructed that surveyors from Nafed and NCCF be deployed at procurement centers to check the quality of crops. He also emphasized the need for an adequate number of weighing scales at procurement centers and proper arrangements for handling and transportation to ensure the procured crops are stored in warehouses efficiently.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including Rajfed Managing Director Shri Tikam Chand Bohra, Nafed State Head Shri Mahendra Singh Rawat, NCCF State Head Madhu Sharma, Rajfed General Manager (Commerce) Shri Kartikeya Mishra, and Deputy Manager (IT) Shri Pawan Ojha.
