Role of Interim Managers

The Commission has appointed Joseph Colley and Ryan Davies of Moore Kingston Smith & Partners LLP as Interim Managers on 20 October 2025. Their role is to undertake specific tasks in line with the charity’s governing document, excluding the trustees from these responsibilities. The appointed tasks include:

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying the charity’s assets and liabilities
• Assessing the charity’s viability, including determining whether the charity’s current business plan is fit for purpose and adequate to turn the charity’s financial prospects around

Based on the initial findings of the Interim Managers, the Commission will consider whether they should remain in place to assist the trustees in developing a comprehensive business plan to improve the charity’s financial prospects.

Ongoing Inquiry and Trustee Involvement

The charity’s trustee board will continue in the management, administration, and governance of the charity while the Interim Managers focus on their designated tasks. The Commission’s inquiry into Seven Dials Playhouse remains ongoing, with further updates expected as the investigation progresses.
