Global Call for AI Health Breakthroughs
The IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to issue a global call for abstracts. This initiative seeks to highlight impactful and scalable applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in health systems, with a focus on solutions that can be replicated across the Global South. Shortlisted entries will contribute to a Casebook on AI Health Use Cases Across the Global South, set to be unveiled at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, scheduled for 19–20 February 2026.
Purpose of the Casebook
Jointly developed by IndiaAI and WHO, the Casebook aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for policymakers, innovators, and researchers. It will document real-world, scalable, and responsible AI health solutions, capturing practical experiences and lessons learned to drive digital transformation in healthcare systems globally. The initiative emphasizes responsible AI adoption to address healthcare challenges effectively.
Call for Abstracts
Researchers, innovators, and institutions from the Global South are invited to submit abstracts (up to 250 words) showcasing successful, scalable AI health solutions. Submissions should highlight implemented use cases with tangible impact. The deadline for abstract submissions is 31st October 2025. Chapter Submission Process
Abstracts will be evaluated based on relevance, quality, and alignment with the Casebook’s objectives. Shortlisted contributors will be invited to submit full chapters (2,500–3,000 words) by 15th December 2025. Chapters should detail the AI solution, deployment strategy, ethical considerations, impact achieved, and key lessons learned.
