Office of Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi Holds Telecom Outreach Meet for Q3 of FY 2025-26

The Office of the Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi organized a Telecom Outreach Meet for the third quarter of FY 2025-26 to facilitate on-spot grievance resolution and improve awareness among telecom license holders regarding license conditions and compliance procedures.
Participation and Focus Areas
The meeting recorded the presence of more than 75 license holders who discussed the status of telecom revenue in the circle and shared views on how specific processes could be streamlined to support ease of doing business. The programme saw participation from licensees across multiple categories.
Discussions and Interactions
Shri Uday Bhan Tiwari, Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi, delivered the opening remarks, underscoring the importance of regular communication between telecom licensees and the Controller’s office. He noted that sustained interaction helps ensure timely and accurate submission of license fee returns, audited accounts, and compliance documents. He stated that such engagement supports transparency, minimizes delays, and enables early identification and resolution of issues.
During the session, officers from the Office of the Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi addressed queries, resolved pending matters, and guided licensees on financial compliance, document submission, revenue reporting norms, and requirements under the Unified License framework. The interactive setting allowed participants to discuss concerns directly with officials.
The outreach activity forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance stakeholder communication, improve service delivery, and broaden understanding of regulatory responsibilities among telecom service providers.
About the Office of the Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi
The Office of the Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Delhi manages core financial functions of the Department of Telecommunications. It is responsible for collection of License Fees and Spectrum Usage Charges from telecom licensees with registered offices in Delhi and the Delhi NCR region.
The office currently oversees 535 active licenses across categories that include UL-ISP, VNO-ISP, NLD, ILD, CMRTS, and Access-B. Its functions include license-fee assessment and administration of all Financial and Performance Bank Guarantees.
The office has maintained steady year-on-year revenue growth, collecting ₹4,551 crore in FY 2023-24 and ₹4,650 crore in FY 2024-25.
