ADNOC Gas and EMSTEEL Finalise 20-Year Natural Gas Supply Agreement

ADNOC Gas Plc and its subsidiaries on Wednesday signed a billion-dollar agreement valued between $3.5 and $4.2 billion with EMSTEEL, a major integrated steel and building materials manufacturer in the region.
The agreement, which will take effect on 1st January 2027, establishes a long-term supply of lower-carbon natural gas to support EMSTEEL’s operations and upcoming development plans.
The arrangement strengthens the established relationship between ADNOC Gas and EMSTEEL and highlights their shared focus on supporting sustainable economic progress in the UAE.
The agreement ensures a dependable source of energy for one of the UAE’s prominent industrial producers and enhances ADNOC Gas’ position as a contributor to industrial stability and the transition to cleaner energy.

Highlighting ADNOC Gas’ significance, the ADNOC Board of Directors chose Habshan, one of the company’s key operational sites, as the location for its annual meeting last Monday.
