Aizawl, June 24, 2026: Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma stated that the Mizoram Government is actively pursuing reforms through the ‘Compliance Reduction & Deregulation Reforms Programme’ to simplify rules and regulations, making it easier for people to do business. Addressing media persons at the CMO, the Chief Minister highlighted that the initiative is a key step towards boosting the state’s economy and creating more employment opportunities. The programme focuses on reducing unnecessary and overly burdensome rules, streamlining procedures, and creating a conducive environment for investment, entrepreneurship, and overall economic growth. The Commerce & Industries Department has been designated as the nodal department to lead and coordinate with various government departments and agencies.
