Aizawl, June 24, 2026: A two-day Capacity Building Programme for officers of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department was inaugurated today at the PHE Conference Hall in Khatla. The programme, organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Guwahati Branch Office in collaboration with the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, aims to train around 20 Senior Executive Engineers and senior officials. Two experts from BIS Dr. Anuj Verma and Dr. Murali Mohan — will deliver sessions on 12 selected important topics. This event is part of the ongoing efforts of the State Level Standardisation Committee under the Chief Secretary. A similar programme for PWD officers was conducted earlier.
