Landslides have occurred at two locations along National Highway 315, affecting road connectivity between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The affected stretch connects Joypur in Assam’s Dibrugarh district with Deomali and Khonsa in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district. Following the incidents, movement on the route has been disrupted, impacting transportation in the region. Authorities have taken note of the situation and implemented control measures to manage vehicular movement. According to the administration, traffic has been restricted as a precautionary step. Vehicular movement on the route has been regulated from 6 AM to 6 PM to ensure safety and road management.
