A delegation from UNICEF India and UNICEF Assam, along with senior officials, held a meeting in Goalpara district focusing on child protection and safety.
The meeting was organized in the conference hall of the District Commissioner’s office, where key issues related to child welfare were discussed.
District Commissioner Devashis Sharma attended the meeting along with representatives from the UNICEF child protection unit.
UNICEF India’s Child Protection Head, R. K. Radhakrishnan, was also present at the discussion.
The representatives emphasized strengthening the overall child safety system in the district and improving coordination among departments.
The meeting highlighted the importance of ensuring child security, safety monitoring mechanisms, and comprehensive welfare measures across all sectors.
