Prawn Export Restrictions Lifted: Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh stated that the restrictions imposed by Australia on the export of prawn (potu royyala) and other commodities, due to the White Spot Virus for the past few years, have been recently removed, thus providing an opportunity for exporters. He announced this on the social media platform ‘X’. The Minister stated that there is a need to expand the market for prawn exports.

GST Reduction Benefits: The residents of Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh expressed their happiness over the Central Government’s reduction of GST on goods and services. Farmer Shyam Kumar from Thottambedu in the district stated that the reduction of GST on necessary machinery and equipment for farmers will benefit them greatly. New Dialysis Centers: Andhra Pradesh State Health Minister V. Satyakumar Yadav announced that 7 new dialysis centers will be set up in the state to provide relief to kidney patients. The Minister stated in a release that these dialysis centers will be established in S. Kota of Vizianagaram district, T. Dharmavaram of West Godavari district, Pileru Hospital in Chittoor district, Seethampeta in Parvathipuram Manyam district, Venkatagiri in SPSR Nellore district, Adanki in Bapatla district, and Sunnipenta Community Health Centre in Nandyala district. He mentioned that each center will have the capacity to purify the blood of 15 people in three sessions per day.

RIMS Hospital Upgradation: Andhra Pradesh State Industry Minister K. Atchannaidu said that the Government General Hospital – RIMS in Srikakulam district will be converted into a model hospital with all facilities. The Minister inspected the hospital yesterday.
