CAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on 30 November. According to the institute, roughly 2.95 lakh candidates registered for the CAT 2025 examination this year. The exam serves as the gateway to admission for MBA and management programmes at the IIMs and several other business schools across the country.
Technical glitch and clarification
Some confusion arose regarding the admit card release. When queried by the media, an official at IIM Kozhikode explained that the earlier issue was a technical fault which has since been corrected. Following the fix, the institute confirmed that the CAT 2025 admit card will now be issued on 12 November.
How candidates should check their details
Candidates are advised to log in to their CAT account at iimcat.ac.in to view their exam slot, date, session and allocated test city. The login page will display the complete exam allocation details once the admit card is released on 12 November.

Performance in CAT 2025 will be used by India’s top IIMs as well as many other B-schools for selection to MBA and management programmes. Candidates should ensure their login credentials are ready and monitor the CAT portal for the admit card release and any further instructions from the institute.
