Hamdan bin Zayed and Hazza bin Zayed Visit Inaugural Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

AL AIN H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, visited the first edition of the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (AAIHEX), which is being held at ADNEC Centre Al Ain until 30 November. The event is organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
Their Highnesses toured the exhibition halls, where they received briefings on national and international pavilions featuring innovations in hunting gear, falconry, camel and equestrian sports, saluki dogs, adventure and safari activities, along with heritage arts, handicrafts and camping supplies.
During the visit, Their Highnesses met representatives of local and international companies taking part in the exhibition. They reviewed presentations on equipment, innovations and technologies displayed for followers of traditional sports, supporting efforts to strengthen the presence of these activities within the community.
Their Highnesses noted that AAIHEX is an important addition to Al Ain Region’s calendar of key events, emphasising its cultural and heritage relevance. They highlighted its role in enhancing the Region’s status as a destination for specialised and heritage-focused events at both local and regional levels, coinciding with Al Ain Region’s designation as the Gulf Capital of Tourism 2025.
Their Highnesses also indicated that the ongoing support and direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in safeguarding Emirati heritage and promoting traditional sports is a central factor in the success of national events that honour the country’s legacy and strengthen the connection of younger generations to the values of Emirati identity.
Their Highnesses expressed appreciation for the exhibition’s organisational standards and its ability to attract a significant number of exhibitors from the UAE and abroad, demonstrating its developing position as a platform combining Emirati heritage with advancements in hunting, equestrian activities and camping.
