The Special Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Ambassador in charge of Gaza Rebuilding Assistance, Mr. OKUBO Takeshi, attended the Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Palestine Donor Group on November 20 in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium.

Discussion on Palestinian Authority Reforms

During the meeting, Ambassador OKUBO held a discussion on ongoing efforts related to reforms of the Palestinian Authority, including measures aimed at fiscal stabilization. He reviewed the progress of these initiatives and addressed matters concerning rebuilding, governance, security, and stability in the Gaza Strip.

Engagement with Participating Delegations

Ambassador OKUBO also exchanged views with representatives from participating countries and organizations. The discussions resulted in a shared understanding on cooperating toward the future rebuilding of Gaza.
