Immersive Pavilion Recreates the Prophet’s Migration Journey

One of the most visited attractions at the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 was a dedicated pavilion organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, offering visitors an interactive experience that retraces the historic migration journey of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) from Makkah to Madinah.
This immersive display allows participants to virtually follow the Prophet’s 470-kilometer migration route, which passes through 41 historically restored and culturally significant sites. The program caters to a variety of travel experiences, with options for foot journeys, camel rides, and vehicle routes. Visitors can select from diverse accommodation types, including campsites, designed to combine comfort with spiritual reflection.
The pavilion uses virtual reality (VR) technology and modern visual storytelling techniques to recreate key moments of the journey, enabling visitors to engage deeply with the spiritual and historical aspects of the migration. The exhibit merges faith and history in a contemporary presentation that both educates and inspires, offering a unique perspective on one of Islam’s most profound journeys.
Interior Ministry Highlights Security Innovations and Hajj Awareness Initiatives
The Ministry of Interior concluded its participation in the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, held from November 9 to 12 at the Jeddah Superdome. The ministry presented a comprehensive overview of its contributions across the service, health, humanitarian, and security sectors, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring safety and smooth management during the Hajj season.
The ministry’s exhibit highlighted its adoption of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence-based systems designed to improve security operations and enhance crowd management at the holy sites. It showcased various digital tools and smart platforms that strengthen coordination and response efficiency during peak pilgrimage days.
Among the featured initiatives was the “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign, an awareness drive aimed at educating residents and visitors about Hajj regulations and the necessity of official authorization. The campaign underscores the importance of compliance with entry and safety protocols to preserve the sanctity and order of the pilgrimage.
The ministry also presented the Makkah Route Initiative, an integrated travel facilitation program that enables pilgrims to complete their entry procedures from their home countries. The initiative streamlines customs, visa, and health checks, allowing pilgrims a smooth transition upon arrival in the Kingdom and contributing to a more efficient and comfortable pilgrimage experience.
