Saudi Athletes Win Gold in Discus and Pole Vault at Islamic Solidarity Games

Riyadh Saudi Paralympic athletics team athlete Hani Al-Nakhli secured first place and the gold medal in the discus throw competition at the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), achieving a distance of 30.92 meters for a total of 950 points. A Jordanian athlete won silver with 893 points, while an Iraqi athlete claimed bronze with 881 points.

Additionally, Saudi athlete Hussain Al-Hizam earned gold in the pole vault, clearing a height of 5.65 meters. Abdulaziz Al-Atafi claimed silver in the 100-meter race with a time of 10.32 seconds. The gold medal went to a runner from Oman, and the bronze to a competitor from Cameroon.

Saudi runner Raed Aljadani qualified for the finals of the 1500-meter race, finishing the qualifiers in fifth place with a time of 4:02.58 minutes.
