Registration Details and Categories
The Saudi Falcons Club has started accepting registrations for the upcoming Saudi Falcons Club Cup and the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025. These two landmark events celebrate the rich falconry culture of the Kingdom while strengthening the falconers’ community and public engagement.
Based in Malham, north of Riyadh, the Club announced that its first registration round targets the amateur, owners, professional, and elite local categories. Three separate registration windows have been scheduled to accommodate participants across various regions and specializations.
Timeline for Registration
Phase 1: Malham Headquarters
The initial registration phase is open from November 3 to 7, 2025, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Club’s main office in Malham.
Phase 2: Dhahran Expo
From November 19 to 21, 2025, applicants from the amateur and owners categories can register between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Dhahran Expo in the Eastern Region. This is the last opportunity for these two categories.
Phase 3: Malham Headquarters
The final phase, dedicated to the professional and elite local categories, will occur from December 18 to 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Documents and Participation Requirements
Applicants or their representatives must bring complete documentation pertaining to each falcon, including the species, clear images, production ring, and an official club electronic ring number. In case these are unavailable, a certificate of ownership from the National Center of Wildlife (NCW) is required, along with a CITES certificate in the name of the owner for locals or a CITES certificate or falcon passport for international attendees.
Additionally, a certified health document proving that the falcon is free of avian influenza must be furnished. This health check must be conducted at a recognized veterinary clinic within 48 hours of competition entry.
Failure to provide accurate falcon details as listed on the registration form will lead to immediate disqualification.
