Riyadh United Nations Resident Coordinator in Saudi Arabia Mohamed El Zarkani underscored the significance of industrial development in strengthening economic systems, reducing poverty, and generating employment opportunities. Speaking on behalf of UN Secretary-General António Guterres at the 21st UNIDO General Conference, he emphasized that governments and businesses must work together to support developing nations through accelerated investments in sustainable manufacturing.
