India’s women’s doubles pair Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand have entered the second round of the Thailand Open badminton tournament.
In their opening round match, the Indian duo defeated Spain’s Paula Lopez and Lucia Rodriguez.
The match ended with scores of 21-12, 14-21, and 21-13 in favour of the Indian pair.
With this win, Treesa and Gayatri progressed to the next round of the competition.
In the upcoming round, they are set to face a pair from Japan, marking another competitive encounter for the Indian team.
