Chhattisgarh Government Advises Farmers to Grow Pulses and Oilseeds Amid Low Rainfall Forecast

Due to the forecast of below-normal rainfall this year, the Chhattisgarh Agriculture Department has advised farmers to adopt suitable agricultural practices. Farmers are encouraged to grow pulses and oilseeds instead of paddy in low-water areas. The state government has decided to provide an incentive of Rs 15,000 per acre to farmers adopting such low-water crops.
