Muharram Processions Held Across Kashmir Valley

On the occasion of Muharram, mourning processions were taken out across the Kashmir Valley. The largest procession started from Graw Bar in Srinagar towards Dalgate. A large number of mourners from various districts participated. Azadars paid tributes through marsiya and noha recitations to Hazrat Imam Hussain and the martyrs of Karbala. Strict security arrangements were made by the administration for peaceful conduct of the processions. Preparations for 10th Muharram and Ashura are also underway.
